Grullon Gets ‘Em Out!

Today was one of those days when I happened to be in the right place at just the right time. Usually, unless you take several hundred pictures a game you never get that one magical moment captured.

Today, Baseball Ross and I spent the early afternoon at the Phillies game. Afterwards, we meandered to the Carpenter Complex to see what was going on.

I made it back to Roberts Field to watch Deivi Grullon catch…and make a stunningly great play at the plate. I think it was one of the best plays I’ve seen up close…and I got it all on “film”!

What an amazing play! Sometimes you get lucky and capture it, it’s like catching lightning in a bottle…and I love it!

Really enjoy all your work in write ups and Photos. Really have caught an interest in the Phillies farm system a few seasons ago. Really enjoy reading about the Phuture of the Phillies down in Florida and that. I’m jealous I don’t have access to all of this baseball around the clock down there. But I watch closely back up in P.A. Thanks for keeping us fans updated everyday about the upcoming players in the future for our team!

You are welcome! I enjoy watching the young guys a lot. There is a lot of promise there.

I see that! I’m really excited to see what Cozens, Crawford, Grullon,Tocci Pujols and all them lower A ball guys can do. I’m a sucker for a power bat so lol. And also the pitchers down there. It seems we have a lot of promise in the lower minor leagues. Just hope we can develop and Amaro finally realizes he has to restock the farm to make it good again for Major league level as well. Really excited for this years draft with all of our picks. Idk if we should go pitcher or all around best talent.
